Julien Desgranges
Julien Desgranges ... Clarinettist At the age of 17, Julien Desgranges obtained an advanced prize at the CNR in Caen. Few months later, he unanimously entered the conservatory in Lyon. His teacher was Mr. Jacques Di Donato. Fond of contemporary music, he joined the Jacques Di Donato’s improvisation class and worked with composers such as Lachenmann, Apergis, Murail as well as Peter Etvos.
In 2005, he got the first prize of clarinet with special honors for his originality of his creation with a juggler and roller skaters on stage. He was later invited to play with the National Orchestra in the Opera house in Lyon, Orchestra of the Capitol in Toulouse and the Philharmonic Orchestra of radio France. In 2007, he obtained the first price of Clarinet ‘’Basso’’ at the CNSM IN Paris as well as the teaching diploma. Currently, Julien Desgranges is a clarinet teacher at the regional conservatory of Caen and first solo at the orchestra of Caen. |
