To develop music in West Africa
and in particular in Togo

As it happens one of them has been several times to Burkina Faso, the other has travelled in West Africa and the other is himself from Togo.
All of them have met African musicians and dancers, whether traditional or classical and they have heard the same complaints from all of them- shortage of instruments, training and facilities.
They too would like to learn African percussion instruments, African dances and to study rational musics
So with other like-minded friends they decided to join together to form a music society to materialise their projects.

In July 2006
the association Musique-Evénements
was born at the same time
in Togo and in France
